Dave and I took full advantage of the early movie last Friday afternoon to see one of our favorites: SKYFALL (as in James Bond 007). When we were at CU we would do "007" marathons. Maybe I originally watched because I had a huge crush on CT Dad, but I really liked the movies. Generally, they meet the criteria of a good date movie: action, romance, and intrigue. That is why I was excited to see the latest in the series!
I just have one question: why was so much focus placed on Daniel Craig being OLD? I know I am no spring chicken, but I didn't like the storyline placed on his age (although he did kick some butt)! Personally, I think he looks pretty good for 44. Is 44 old? Isn't 60 the new 50? There is something to be said for age, experience, and maturity! I don't think I could take Justin Beiber as James Bond. You would lose me at that point! Sean Connery falls somewhere past grandpa on the age scale but he made an awesome Bond! If you can't rent a car, you probably shouldn't be the next James Bond. I am glad the producers agree!
Food for thought: Get out there and see SKYFALL and tell me what you think. Put off the Thanksgiving chores for a couple of hours this weekend!
