"What am I doing here?" has been a question I have asked myself many times in the past 4 months after moving to Boulder, CO. Never so much as Wednesday night as I lay wide awake, sirens blazing, rain pounding, and alone. Adrenaline kicked in and somehow I walked through the hours, checking the house, the dog, and my pulse!...
Mostly, I'm just grateful for kind neighbors who checked on me, God who protected me, and a seemingly sturdy house!
Here are some photos from the "hood":

North Boulder Park (Lake)
Our house on the "river 11th"
Mudslide on Mount Sanitas (visible from our bedroom)
Poor neighbors whose house was the recipient of the mud

CS Lewis once wrote about God coming in to our "houses" and making changes that were more intense than we thought we needed. It is because he is adding wings and courtyards because He is planning to live there. Maybe God is adding some courtyards in Boulder, Co.
